Can I Deposit Funds From an Unregistered Bank Account to FYERS?

No, you cannot. As per SEBI regulations, FYERS does not permit fund transfers from bank accounts that are not registered with your trading account. This restriction ensures all fund inflows are traceable and securely linked to your verified identity.

Restriction on unregistered bank transfers

All deposits into a FYERS trading account must originate from a bank account that has been officially linked during or after onboarding. This applies across both FYERS Web and FYERS App platforms. Deposits from third-party or unlinked accounts will be rejected or require manual verification before processing.

Steps to validate a transfer from an unregistered bank

If you've already deposited funds from a bank account that isn't linked to your FYERS profile, follow the steps below:

  1. Confirm that the bank account is in your name.
  2. If yes, email a scanned copy of the debit transaction statement to [email protected].
  3. The statement must clearly show the following details:
    • Account Holder Name
    • Account Number
    • IFSC Code
    • MICR Code
    • Bank Branch details

FYERS will verify your submission. If approved, the bank will be added as a secondary bank account, and the funds will be credited to your trading account accordingly.

You can link up to three bank accounts with FYERS. One will be designated as the primary account, and the others as secondary accounts for fund transfers and withdrawals.
