Yes, FYERS allows you to link a personal current account to your trading account as long as the account is held in your name. Current accounts operated under a business, firm, or entity name are not permitted. This restriction is based on SEBI regulations and applies across both FYERS Web and FYERS App.
Eligibility to link a personal current account
- The account is solely in your name.
- It is not registered to any business, partnership, LLP, or company.
- You provide a declaration (if prompted) stating that the account is exclusively personal and not linked to any business activity.
Steps to link your current account
- Log in to the FYERS Web or open the FYERS App.
- Navigate to the Banks tab under the Funds section.
- Click Add Bank and enter your current account details.
- If required, upload a signed declaration confirming personal ownership.
- Wait for the verification and approval.
You cannot link business current accounts (registered in a firm or company’s name) to your personal trading account. This is restricted under SEBI rules.
