You can cancel a gift transaction only while its status is still marked as Pending. Once the gifting request is processed successfully, it cannot be cancelled.
After you initiate a gifting request on FYERS, a CDSL validation request is sent after 7 PM which will be valid until 11 PM. If you do not complete the validation, the gifting request will be cancelled automatically, and the shares will not be transferred.
If you do not complete the CDSL validation within the required time, the gift transaction will be cancelled automatically. In this case, the shares will remain in your holdings and will not be transferred to the receiver.
