Can an HUF (Hindu Undivided Family) open an account with FYERS?

Yes, FYERS is pleased to extend its services to HUFs, allowing them to establish accounts. However, it's important to note that the HUF account opening process is conducted offline, and it necessitates the involvement of the Karta, who must sign the account opening form and other pertinent documents. Additionally, all documents need to be attested by the Karta.
To initiate the process, you will need the following documents:
  • Duly filled Trading/Trading & Demat/Commodity form with a photograph of the Karta affixed and signed across.
  • PAN Card Copies: These include the PAN card of the HUF, the Karta's PAN card, and the PAN card of the Coparcener.
  • Proof of Address Copies: Address proofs for both the HUF and the Karta.
  • Bank Passbook/Bank Statement of HUF indicating its existence.
  • AADHAAR of the Karta
  • Declaration to be given by the Karta & all members of the HUF
  • HUF Declaration for Demat account
