Yes, we allow Hindu Undivided Families (HUFs) to open accounts. However, please note that HUF account opening is an offline process and requires the involvement of the Karta (head of the HUF), who must sign and attest all documents.
Documents required to open a HUF account
- Completed account opening form (Trading/Demat/Commodity) with a photograph of the Karta signed across
PAN card copies of:
- The HUF
- The Karta
- Each Coparcener (family member)
- Address proofs of both the HUF and the Karta
- Bank passbook or statement of the HUF (to prove existence)
- AADHAAR card of the Karta
- Declaration signed by the Karta and all HUF members
- HUF Demat declaration form
