Can a guardian open and manage multiple minor Demat accounts with FYERS?

Yes. A guardian can be mapped to multiple minor Demat accounts with FYERS. Each minor must have a separate Demat account, and the guardian must complete the account-opening process individually for every minor.

Minor account rules for guardians

  • One guardian can open and manage multiple minor Demat accounts.
  • Each minor account must be opened and managed independently.
  • The guardian must complete a separate application and submit the required documents for each minor account.
  • Only one guardian can be mapped to each minor Demat account.

Joint guardianship or shared guardianship is not permitted. However, the same eligible guardian can be mapped to more than one minor Demat account.

For complete minor account setup instructions, refer to our minor Demat account opening procedure.

Each minor Demat account is managed individually. Authorisations, documentation, and portfolio activity are not shared between accounts, even when the same guardian manages multiple minor accounts.
